Join our ground-breaking, dynamic Breaking the Chains team as an Immigration Solicitor or Senior Caseworker
This is an exceptional opportunity for a junior lawyer to build a rewarding career on a pioneering project recognised for its innovation and real impact for children and young people in the asylum and immigration system.
The post holder will gain hands-on experience representing children and young people in asylum, immigration and trafficking matters, in cases that are central to challenging regressive legislation and policy for the wider benefit of asylum claimants. The role offers excellent scope to develop advocacy, case preparation and strategic litigation skills, alongside specialist expertise in child-centred and trauma-informed practice. You will also work closely with young people with lived experience of the asylum system, helping to shape meaningful change.
MiCLU’s Breaking the Chains project is a unique partnership with Shpresa Programme, designed to meet the specific needs of asylum-seeking children and young people from Albania through a holistic, child-centred and child-friendly legal service.
